Christmas Morning with Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi there!  Thank you for joining me for today's Miss Kate Cuttables post!

Have you grabbed your free file from the Miss Kate Cuttables store yet??  If not, you can grab it here ~ FREEBIE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today's project I used a file from the store called "Christmas Morning".
This is what the file looks like when you get it from the store ~
 Here's my Christmas morning layout I made using this file ~
Sorry my picture is a little on the blurry side.  Ever have a project going and nothing goes right?  Well that was this one for me!  My Cameo is stuck in double cut mode some how, so I have to call them this morning.  This layout was suppose to be a 2-page but because of the double cut it was tearing all my littler cuts for the second page.
Have you ever wondered where you can find inspiration from Miss Kate Cuttables?  Well, here are some options for you ~
There's Snow Place Like Home!
Hi everyone ~ thanks for joining me for today's Miss Kate Cuttables post!
Before we get started have you grabbed your free file from the Miss Kate Cuttables store yet??  WHAT?!? You didn't know you could get a free file?  Oh goodness, Miss Kate Cuttables gives out a different free file EVERY day!  Grab it here before the day's up ~ FREEBIE.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my post today I'm using a bundle file from the store called "There's Snow Place Like Home".

This is what the file looks like when you get it from the store ~

 Here's my 2-page layout using the file ~

Here is the left side of the layout ~
It's hard to tell in the photo (believe me, I tried), the trees are topped with glitter.  Snow is very glittery (is that even a word?) when the sun hits it.

Here is the right side of the layout ~
 Again, I used glitter on the tree tops and the snow on the house.

I worked on my title last and I probably should've done it first because my blade was not cutting the detail of these letters real well.  So what happens when you need a new blade and can't get it in time to finish what you're working on?  You print & cut...Here's what I did for my title, and you can do this for any SVG file.  I googled the RGB (red,green,blue) codes that would match my paper that I was using elsewhere on my layout and changed the coloring of the words.  Once I had that done I placed them back where I wanted them on the white background and then printed the title in my printer and cut it out with my Cameo.

I have found this to be a good technique to use when you have a file with a LOT of layers and you are putting it on a card, or anything for that matter - it gets VERY heavy and you can avoid that problem doing a print & cut.

Nuttin's better than you!

Today I decided to do a throwback post for the Action Wobble Blog with a Fall card I made last year and never sent out.  When I saw it in my stash this year it made me laugh just as much as it did when I made it so I thought I would share it again.

What do you do with cards that you've made and didn't need to send out right away?  I tend to tuck mine away for a "just in case" moment, but my stash seems to be getting a little large and I need to think of another way to store them.  Right now they are all together, should they be stored by occasion? Post your suggestions for me, I would really appreciate it.

  Here's my little squirrel card ~

Image SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables, sentiment from Scrappy Mom's stamps

This is what it looks like under your image, just a tiny little spring to make your cuts wiggle.

Would you like to have your own Action Wobbles?  Well, you can ... they can be purchased at the Royal Castle ShoppeWarning:  they are addictive!

I Love Fall with Miss Kate Cuttables

Hey y'all ~  thanks for joining me for today's Miss Kate Cuttables post!

Have you grabbed your free file from the Miss Kate Cuttables store yet??  If not, you can grab it here ~ FREEBIE.

Also, don't forget to check the section called "Today's SVG's" for some awesome specials.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today's project I used one of the Fall/Autumn images in the store called "I Love Fall ".
This is what the file looks like when you get it from the store ~
Here's a card I made with the file ~
Once you get these files from the store there are sooo many things you can do with them.  I actually took out one of the background layers so that I had a bigger white border around the whole thing.  As you can see I changed the color of the images and used twine for my banner instead of the white strip they have on the image.
Give Thanks with an Action Wobble
Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by to check out my
Action Wobble project.
Today's project is the first card I made for Fall and I have a lot more to go.
For this project I made a VERY simple card that ANYONE can do.  Everything on this card is a sticker... shocked ya huh?  The base layer is plain green and I added the dots around with a white gel pen (my friend).  The sentiment is a sticker, and the whole wobbled piece in the center is one sticker.  Now you're probably asking yourself how I put a sticker on a wobble?  Here's the fun part .... I haven't found ANYTHING that can't go on a wobble.
I really liked this sticker and I had high hopes of cutting it out with my Cameo but when that fell through I went to Plan B.  My Plan B was to put the sticker on regular white card stock and then cut it out from there, by hand.  Pretty simple huh?
 This is what the wobble looks like under the image ~
Would you like to have your own Action Wobbles?  Well, you can ... they can be purchased at the Royal Castle Shoppe.
Warning:  they are addictive!
Give Thanks with Miss Kate Cuttables
Hi there - thanks for stopping by to check out today's Miss Kate Cuttables post!
Have you grabbed your free file from the Miss Kate Cuttables store yet??  If not, you can grab it here ~ FREEBIE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today's project I used two files from the store, which were "Thanksgiving Owl" and "Give Thanks".

This is what the files look like when you get them from the store ~

Here's what I did with these files ~

For this project I took the Give Thanks title and deconstructed it to make separate images for my sentiment and my corner decoration.  I used the print/cut feature on my Cameo so that I could change some of the colors on my images.

Hope you enjoyed my project and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Have a Spooky Day with an Action Wobble!

Hey there, thanks for joining me today for my Action Wobble project.

I'm having such an awesome time making Halloween cards this year with all the cute images that have been coming into the Miss Kate Cuttables store.

For today's project I used one of the newer images from Miss Kate Cuttables titled "Ghost".

I'm sorry but I don't have a pic of my wobble underneath.  I took a picture and then sealed the envelope to find later the picture wasn't that great.  I actually had to cut my wobble to fit under the ghost because he's so skinny. Cutting the wobbles is real easy and it doesn't affect the way they wobble.

Fang-Tastic with an Action Wobble

Hey there, thanks for joining me today for my Action Wobble project.

I've been pretty busy around here making Halloween cards with all the awesome images I've been seeing around the web.

For today's project I used one of the newer images from Miss Kate Cuttables.  He can be found in the $.50 area, and his file name is Vampire.  He comes with bats but since I had this bat paper I didn't cut them out.

 Underneath my vampire is my Action Wobble.  As you can tell I cut my Action Wobble to fit underneath my image and it still left plenty to stick him on.

Would you like to have your own Action Wobbles?  Well, you can ... they can be purchased at the Royal Castle Shoppe.

TSQ Royal Challenge #11 ~ Color Challenge

Hi everyone - it's time for The Queen's Royal Challenge, which is held on the 30th of each month.

This month's theme is "COLOR CHALLENGE", and you can create anything showing THE COLORS HERE!  ie. card, layout, home decor, tag etc.  You need to use the colors we've chosen here or something close to these.  The names are Stampin Up! color names to give you an idea of what the color should look like.  If you have something close but not exact don't hesitate to use it and submit for a prize.  Here's the catch ... you have to use all 3 of our colors in your project, and you can add colors of your own to help you out.

Let's see what you can create with our colors ~

This is what I created with the colors here ~

... Once you've completed your project make sure you post it over at The Queen's blog !!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to go back to The Queen's Blog to play along with us and see what the other design team members posted.

Jeepers Creeper...with an Action Wobble

Hi there, and welcome to today's Action Wobble project.

I've been seeing some awesome images this year for Halloween and it's prompted me to get started a little early this year with the Halloween cards, so I thought I would show you one that I've been working on.

Skull is from Miss Kate Cuttables

I'm not a big skull person but when I saw this I just knew it had to have a wobble on it!  My wobble is under the head and the crossbones are stationary on the card.  Sorry I don't have a pic of the wobble but I was so excited to send it off it's already in an envelope ready to go!

If you don't have any Action Wobbles of your own you can pick them up at the Royal Castle Shoppe  and you won't be disappointed - they give life to all your projects :)   Warning:  they are addictive!

Just Cuz... with an Action Wobble!

Hi everyone ~  Welcome to today's Action Wobble project.

I've been working on having tags on hand for gifts and this is the first one I've put a wobble on, so I wanted to share it with you.  I really love the way it came out and can't wait for it to go to my friend!

The bee is "Happy Bee" from Miss Kate Cuttables.  I did it as a print and cut so it wasn't real heavy on the tag.  I used my Tim Holtz distress inks to ink up the tag and my bow at the top is going to be used to tie the tag to the gift.  I made the bow and pushed the tails out the back.

If you don't have any Action Wobbles of your own you can pick them up at the Royal Castle Shoppe  and you won't be disappointed - they give life to all your projects :)   Warning:  they are addictive!
